About KANTI

Karnataka Nephrology And Transplant Institute (KANTI) has extensive experience of treating various renal disorders and the dialysis center is one of the largest in South India. It has been the motto of the institute to provide quality treatment to all patients suffering from kidney diseases.

A Group of highly qualified and experienced doctors established KANTI in 1991. These doctors were earlier responsible for starting a dialysis and transplant program in a private medical college hospital in Bangalore. This experience helped them in setting up their own institute – KANTI.

KANTI Today

18 years later, KANTI is now at the pinnacle of its existence. Today, the institute is Well known all over India, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Fiji, etc. where it has achieved repute as a premier institution for the treatment of kidney failure and related diseases.

The Government of Karnataka has approved KANTI for renal transplantation. The institution has become a referral center for many Indian Public Sector Undertakings like Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Port Trust etc and also serves Defence personnel covered under the Army, Air Force Group Insurance (AGI) and Naval Group Insurance (NGI).

KANTI receives contributions from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Governors of various states and charitable institutions etc. This aid is utilized to obtain life saving medication for the deprived and needy patients.
