Timings: Monday to friday: 10 am to 5 pm

If you are suffering from kidney failure and need advice / treatment, please contact the receptionist who will register your name, address and other relevant details. She will then ask you to wait on the chairs provided in the department until you are called.

Either Dr Prasad, Dr Raju, Dr. Ravindran or Dr Shailendra will see you first in Columbia Asia Hebbal. Dr.Babitha or Dr. Anand will see you in Columbia Asia Yeshwantpur. You will be thoroughly examined and advised to undergo tests. Some of these tests are available in Columbia Asia Medical Center itself. Other tests may need to be done in other laboratories. You will be given detailed directions to go to these labs.

• Do I have kidney disease?
• Is it curable?
• What stage is it in – early or late?
• Is a biopsy needed?
• Will I need to be admitted?
• Will I need hemodialysis?
• Will I need a vascular access procedure?
• Will I need peritoneal dialysis?
• What will it cost?
• Can I continue to work?
• What can I eat and drink?
