Can diabetes and high blood pressure be cured?
High blood pressure can be controlled, not cured. Diabetes can be cured by a pancreas transplant from a cadaver. Such a transplant is mainly indicated for Type 1 Diabetes (childhood diabetes). Pancreatic transplantation is not yet available in India. Hence, Diabetes, too, can only be controlled, not cured.
